The last few years I have devoted myself more to composing than to performing. When I have appeared, it has been performing a program based on my CD “Almost Songs” and pieces by Mexican composers such as Manuel M. Ponce, Ricardo Castro and Enrique Santos. I also suffered an injury to my shoulder in 2017 so I couldn’t play with the left hand but that got corrected with surgery in 2018 and I am able to play again with both hands. However, composing keeps me very busy right now and there are no scheduled appearances for me as a pianist.
